Advocacy: shaping policy-making
Our advocacy programmes assess where clients have a credible, distinctive contribution to make to the policy debate, find the most compelling ways to argue their case, and then engage the right people at the right times. From there, we focus on building long-term, trust-based relationships with the most important policy-makers.
We also understand that advocacy is not just a Public Affairs activity. As well as one-to-one engagement with policy-makers and the building of coalitions of support, campaigns which sway opinion typically incorporate a mix of media relations, CSR and social media communication too. Integrating these different activities in the most impactful way is what we mean when we talk about “Corporate Relations”, and is at the heart of the Lomond offer.
